Ubisoft has officially brought back the famous Predator crossover mission in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands as part of the August 2026 update. Players can once again track down the legendary alien hunter in the eastern jungles of Bolivia and claim exclusive cosmetic gear. Here is everything you need to know to locate the clues, survive the encounter, and complete The Jungle Moved.
Ghost Recon Wildlands Predator Mission Returns in Caimanes
How to Start The Jungle Moved and Investigate Clues
To begin the hunt, open your tactical map and navigate to Caimanes on the far eastern side of the map. Select regional boss El Cerebro and activate The Jungle That Moved from the mission list, fast-traveling to Caimanes Delta to save time. Speak with the frightened civilian girl to trigger the investigation phase, which marks three distinct clue sites across the river bank.
Use Night Vision if visibility drops and interact with each point of interest in order:
- Area 1 (-16.8109, -59.5338): Located below Camargo Campsite, featuring blood-stained leaves beneath hanging corpses.
- Area 2 (-16.8665, -59.4675): Positioned south of Area 1, containing stacked skulls and human spines.
- Area 3 (-16.7455, -59.4411): Situated across the river, where you find a crashed alien spaceship that triggers a loud jungle roar.
Predator Combat Tactics and Self-Detonation Escape
Following the ship interaction, head one kilometer deeper into the forest to initiate the boss fight. The Predator remains cloaked while moving, making Thermal Vision essential for tracking its movements. Call in Rebel support before entering the arena, as all Rebel skills lock once the battle begins. Gear up with heavy precision rifles like the Desert HTC, and keep your squad widely spread out to avoid catastrophic grenade disc wiping.
Break line of sight behind large trees or boulders whenever the target’s red laser locks onto your team. Land hits while the creature stands still, taking advantage of Tier One Mode for increased weapon damage since its plasma caster downs targets in a single hit regardless. Restock ammo at the central crate only right after the boss teleports away.
Once its health bar empties, approach the fallen alien to confirm the kill. The entity immediately triggers a self-detonation sequence, forcing you to sprint outside the highlighted red zone before the timer expires. Successfully escaping yields +1500 XP, the Predator Bio Mask, facial tattoos, and the special cloaking device as reported by StopGame and DTF.
